Wilting Lily
I record songs under the name Wilting Lily. My Bandcamp page offers self-recorded albums that date back to my late teenage years. It’s all DIY–that is to say, written, performed, and produced by me on my computer.
On the whole, I would call it experimental bedroom folk. Even though I wince a bit to say that as an adult.
My most lo-fi, most quickly put together album is also by far the most popular. That would be Songs of Anatomy and Physiology, a collection of tracks that I recorded so that I could listen to them again and again while studying for a university course. (“Like Cat Stevens, only with better lyrics,” quipped the blog Regretsy, whose surprisingly kind post about the album made my New Year for 2012.)
My current Wilting Lily projects are:
Songs of Anatomy and Physiology 2, which gets released on 2/2/2012
and
The Last Time I Survived, being released one track at a time over the duration of 2012.
All of my albums are pay-what-you-want.
